You are bidding on an Agilent / HP 8596EM 9 kHz to 12.8 GHz Portable EMC / Spectrum Analyzer with Options 010 (Built-in Tracking Generator, 50 Ohm), 103 (Quasi-Peak Detector and AM/FM Demodulator with Speaker), 130 (Narrow Resolution Bandwidths - 30 Hz, 100 Hz, 300 Hz and 200 Hz EMI) and 043 (RS-232 Interface and Parallel Printer Interface). Optional GPIB/HPIB card included (see pics). It will arrive with a fresh calibration performed by an ISO 17025 accredited lab. The Agilent 8596EM is a stand-alone, automated EMC precompliance analyzer that reduces the time it takes to find, measure and document radiated and conducted EMI emissions. It belongs to the 8590EM series of EMC analyzers, which do not require an external computer and automation software to perform automated EMC measurements. With an upper frequency of 12.8 GHz, the 8596EM can perform precompliance tests on products with clock frequencies up to 2.5 GHz.
The 8596EM has two modes of operation: EMI analysis and spectrum analysis. With the press of a key, this analyzer converts from EMC analyzer to full-function spectrum analyzer for use in a wide variety of non-EMC applications. Based on our highly versatile 8590 E-series spectrum analyzers, this EMC analyzer simplifies the EMC measurement process with fully integrated automation features.

All instruments are professionally packed and shipped via UPS GROUND with full insurance. We typically ship within the continental US only (please no PO Boxes) unless other arrangements have been made with the buyer. International customers may provide their UPS, DHL or FedEx account for international shipments. Items will be shipped within 7 business days of payment.
All items sold on Ebay come with a standard 30 day right of return warranty from the date of receipt, unless otherwise specified in the auction details. Payment in full is required prior to shipment. Buyers are required to notify us immediately if an instrument arrives damaged, and must keep all boxes and packing materials in case a UPS damage inspection is necessary. An extended warranty of 30 days is available for all direct purchases from Spaulding Surplus, LLC and established customers purchasing directly may qualify for net 30 payment terms with PO required prior to shipment.
Spaulding Surplus typically offers a 30 day right of return for equipment received damaged or non-functional. However, Spaulding Surplus, LLC shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from buyer/operator negligence, or the improper use of its equipment, nor does it warrant their suitability for any specific application or project. The verification of product capability is the sole responsibility of the buyer. PO’s and purchases cancelled due to insufficient instrument capability, buyer’s remorse or loss of order are always subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. A complete evaluation is required for any instrument returned under warranty, and refunds are not issued until said evaluation has been completed by an ISO 17025 accredited calibration lab.
